Mae is our expert in education, and she has a real passion for speech-based pedagogy. She specialises in oral corrective feedback and individual learner differences. Mae is responsible for our curriculum and our learning pathways, and she combines her academic research background with her practical teaching experience to create and test our lessons.

Mai is our Japanese market consultant, and she specializes in teaching English as a foreign language. She has taught extensively in Japan and has a wide range of experience in the field. She’s passionate about building confidence in young learners and helping them to enjoy speaking English.

Beverley is our writer, and she creates our stories. She has worked on many creative projects over the years, including children’s audio stories and speculative fiction novels. Beverley has a Masters in Education and a background in teaching English.
Vince Edwards
Tech Guru
Vince is our technical guru, with more than 15 years experience in developing web apps and SAAS software. He has worked for many companies and clients over the years, including Vindiweb and SwipedOn. Vince enjoys building projects that provide world-class software that scales.
John Payne
Creative Director
John has a wealth of experience in creating and directing artistic projects. John began working in print and has a published novel to his name. More recently, he has worked on a number of children’s animated TV series and was the director of the internationally acclaimed TV series, ‘Franklin and Friends’. John is our creative architect, who brings our stories to life.
Niki Pedder
Growth Guru
Niki is our Market Development Specialist, and she heads up our Market Growth Team. She combines her background in process management with her knowledge in content production to ensure that we consistently provide a quality customer experience.
Elnienesia Meirinza
Social Media Expert
Elnie is a specialist in digital marketing and our Indonesian market consultant. She has led several media campaigns for international clients, including Unilever and ERHA Clinic. Elnie specializes in cross-sector marketing and has an in-depth knowledge of the digital landscape.
Mona Cui
Production Engineer
Mona’s specialism is Interactive Media Design, and she has produced and directed several independent documentaries and short films. She has a passion for using expressive and experimental mediums to tell stories. Mona is our project coordinator and the content team editor.
Derek Reeves
C.E.O. Guy

Derek has more than 15 years experience in the media industry, working with Corus Entertainment to deliver over 300 hours of TV Series to international broadcasters, including Disney and Nickelodeon. He spent his early years in teaching and has a special interest in English as a Foreign Language. With his background in regional management and project oversight, Derek is our linchpin, bringing us all together and making sure that things get done.
